NORTHEAST GAUL. Catuslugi. Circa 50-30 BC. AE (Bronze, 15 mm, 1.86 g, 2 h). Head left, hair surrounded by a beaded cord terminating in a volute at the nape of the neck; before, two beaded ringlets. Rev. [VIIRICIVS] Celticized horse galloping to left; above, pellet-in-annulet; below, wheel or shield; before forehooves, pellet-in-annulets. DT 505. LT 8569. A beautiful piece with a very attractive smooth patina. Good very fine.
